I’ve recently had my laptop (up?)-graded to run Windows 10. The start menus search feature is great, however, the most annoying thing was having the results opened in Microsoft Edge, rather than my preferred browser.
Thankfully, this article in How-To Geek by Eric Ravenscraft had a simple workaround (and still works as of Oct 2017). Just make sure you read down since I found that the “force your preferred browser to be the default” step was required to getting it to work.
