ImageJ: Batch Colouring and Saving .GEL Images

7 Dec

I’ve been using a GE Healthcare ImageQuant LAS1000 – Luminescence Image Analyser at work lately and needed to colourise the .GEL files it produces, and save them as JPEG images.

While ImageJ can open these .GEL files natively, I have a lot of those images saved up I would like to convert.

I’ve adapted a previous plugin I made to make my life simpler, which will automatically load, colourise and save the images in a directory.

The plug-in on available for download via my github here: https://github.com/gbwellman/batchColourAndSaveJPEG

Before (greyscale) and After (colourised) images produced by LAS1000
